Cathedral Confession Schedule

Sundays 10:00 am – 10:30 am
Wednesdays 11:30 am – 12:00 pm
Saturdays 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm

The priest will need time to prepare to celebrate Mass after each of these scheduled times, which will make any last-minute arrivals difficult to accommodate. Please plan to arrive early and be considerate of the posted times. Thank you.

Decorating Committee Volunteers Needed

Are you interested in helping us decorate the Cathedral for the Christmas season? Please call the Rectory Office at 860-249-8431 as soon as possible to lend a hand. We hope to finalize our list of volunteers for the Decorating Committee by December 3rd, the First Sunday of Advent.

Day of Prayer for Persecuted Christians

On Sunday, November 26th, the Solemnity of Christ the King, we will observe a Day of Prayer for Persecuted Christians. This day will start the Week of Awareness for Persecuted Christians, which will continue through Saturday, December 2nd. The Christian presence in the Holy Lands traces its roots to the earliest days of Christianity. These small, diverse communities have historically contributed to the vibrant fabric of their societies in the fields of science, medicine, & philosophy. Their fraternity with the diversity of Churches and other religious groups helps to foster greater interreligious dialogue, unity, and peace in the Middle East. In the midst of the turbulence in the region, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops expresses solidarity with Christians and all those who suffer from the conflict and persecution.

November 28th and 29th Schedule

Due to a Priest Convocation, we will not have any Masses at the Cathedral on Tuesday, November 28th and Wednesday, November 29th. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
